Head of Quality Assurance

About the role

DCH Auriga is seeking a senior leader to head its Quality Assurance function across Asia. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of QA will shape the quality strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and embed a robust risk‑management culture throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional quality strategy, providing governance and independent oversight.
• Maintain audit readiness, manage regulatory inspections, and resolve compliance issues proactively.
• Govern critical quality systems, set KPIs, and use data‑driven insights to reduce operational risk.
• Integrate quality requirements into commercial, operational and transformation initiatives, supporting customer audits and due‑diligence.
• Lead, develop and mentor country QA teams, build succession pipelines, and foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Quality Management or related field; registered pharmacist qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 20 years of QA experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or regulated healthcare distribution.
• Proven track record leading multi‑country quality operations in Asia.
• Deep knowledge of GMP, ISO standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Successful experience managing inspections, audits and large‑scale quality transformation projects.
