Hostess – Lounge

About the role

As a Hostess in the lounge, you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen and service teams to deliver attentive, high‑quality service in line with Marriott’s standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables, ensuring proper placement of linens, utensils and décor.
• Communicate guest orders and special requests to the kitchen promptly.
• Greet, seat and serve guests, responding to their needs throughout the meal.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lounge area, including work surfaces, tables and service stations.
• Uphold safety and hygiene standards, following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uniform at all times.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb unassisted (or 50 lb with assistance), and reaching overhead or below the knees.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related guest‑service or hospitality experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and handle moderate physical activity.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
