HR Intern - North Asia

About the role

Motorola Solutions is looking for an HR Intern to join its North Asia HR team. The intern partners with the HR team and other cross-functional departments, supporting initiatives in HR Operations, Rewards & Benefits, Employee Engagement and Talent Development across the North Asia region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HR operations and administration, including employee records, onboarding and offboarding, overtime management and employment verification.
• Support employee engagement by developing initiatives and new ideas to increase participation, especially around engagement, wellbeing and inclusion.
• Work with HR vendors to roll out employee engagement and talent development programmes.
• Help ensure HR practices align with local employment regulations and corporate global policies and practices.
• Assist the HR team with regional HR projects, employee data analysis or talent development as needed.
• Perform data analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• Student studying Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Good writing and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Self-starter who can take on initiatives independently.
• Flexible and agile, able to handle tasks with multiple moving parts and unexpected changes.
• Problem-solving capability to deliver the required work.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, or the equivalent in Google Suite.
