Junior IT Support Engineer – Immediate Availability

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Support Engineer to join our team and help keep servers, applications, and end‑user environments running smoothly for a global top‑tier client. The role is ideal for candidates who are ready to start immediately and grow their technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure laptops, monitors, and peripherals for new joiners.
• Monitor production servers, applications, and network services, acknowledge alerts and escalate when necessary.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support for Windows and Linux endpoints, Office 365, and core business applications.
• Assist with system health checks, patching, backups, and routine maintenance on servers and virtual machines.
• Log and track tickets in the help‑desk system, keeping users informed of progress.
• Perform basic workstation and meeting‑room checks (updates, disk space, connectivity).

Required profile

• Experience in IT support, help‑desk, or related infrastructure roles (internships and projects count).
• Familiarity with Office 365 administration basics and Active Directory user management.
• Willingness to learn Linux basics, scripting, and security practices over time.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) is a plus.
• Immediate availability is highly advantageous.
