Junior QA Engineer – Banking Client

About the role

Keyrus is looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join a banking client’s team in Hong Kong. The role involves supporting the delivery of high‑quality software by designing, executing and managing test activities across multiple test phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test scripts, test conditions, input data and expected results for System Test (ST), System Integration Test (SIT), User Acceptance Test (UAT), Failover, Capacity and Performance testing.
• Follow defined testing standards and procedures while managing defects, problems and issues.
• Collaborate with the application team to resolve issues identified during testing.
• Inform the QA Lead and QA Team of any risks that could affect schedule or product quality.
• Review test activities, create test artefacts, report defects and follow up on resolutions.
• Apply data‑driven techniques to identify patterns and solve testing problems.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with a strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test scripts and manage defect lifecycles.
• Effective communication skills to work with application teams and QA leadership.
• Comfort with data‑driven problem solving and pattern analysis.
