Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support for our Hong Kong‑based entities. The role involves managing contracts, advising internal teams, protecting intellectual property, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for all Hong Kong subsidiaries, covering corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage Chinese and English contracts such as sales, investment, supplier and marketing agreements.
• Offer timely legal advice on labor relations, business cooperation, corporate governance and intellectual property.
• Oversee global intellectual property strategy, handle infringement cases and protect rights.
• Monitor Hong Kong laws and regulations, assess business impact and develop compliance and risk‑prevention mechanisms.
• Manage legal disputes in Hong Kong, devise solutions and drive implementation.
• Build and maintain relationships with external law firms and coordinate cross‑border legal resources.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law; Hong Kong practising lawyer qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of legal experience in Hong Kong or at a Hong Kong law firm.
• Strong communication, coordination, legal analysis and problem‑solving abilities.
• Hands‑on experience in contract review, IP protection and dispute handling.
• Proficiency in Hong Kong legislation, regulations and judicial processes.
• Excellent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
