Assistant Claims Manager / Senior Claims Officer (Commercial)

About the role

Large and complex claims handling and managerial support within Zurich’s Commercial portfolio. The role combines senior claims adjustment responsibilities with data‑analytics and process‑automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage large and complex liability and property claims.
• Provide data analytics for commercial portfolios.
• Deliver technical support to the team, including work simplification and automation projects.
• Organise customer‑meeting presentations and prepare PowerPoint slides.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory and governance requirements throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Assist the Claims Manager with managerial and ad‑hoc tasks.
• Maintain adherence to customer protocols and service charter.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in liability and property claims, preferably handling large and complex cases.
• Recognised industry qualification (e.g., Senior Associate of ANZIIF).
• Strong knowledge of liability and property insurance products and related legislation.
• Understanding of industry standards, claims agreements and litigation processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) communication skills.
• Proven customer‑service orientation in claims handling.
