Maintenance Worker – School Facilities (Peak Campus)

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Maintenance Worker to join the Facilities Team at our Peak Campus. The role involves maintaining the overall appearance and functioning of school buildings, ensuring a clean, safe and attractive environment for students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs including painting, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, masonry, metal work and furniture installation.
• Carry out routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Install and maintain equipment and appliances, and ensure health and safety protocols are followed.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and maintain accurate records and inventory of tools.
• Support event set‑up, traffic control during arrivals and dismissals, and assist contractor visits.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduate or higher with proven experience as a handyman or technician.
• Technical knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, drainage and related systems.
• Valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card); Grade A electrical licence preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
