Manager / Assistant Manager – Client Liaison Team

About the role

This role is responsible for client liaison within Wealth Operations Hong Kong. It covers handling agent and customer enquiries, supporting client onboarding and maintenance, coordinating reporting and internal responses, monitoring service quality and client experience, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The working arrangement is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Provide counter service support and resolve customer enquiries professionally, within defined turnaround times and quality standards.
• Handle agent enquiries by phone and email.
• Oversee client onboarding and account maintenance, including KYC/AML review, name screening, client agreements and investigation of suspicious transactions.
• Ensure client instructions are processed according to fund cut-off times and fund transfer agency requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations such as FATCA/CRS reporting and AML policies.
• Distribute reporting to internal stakeholders on time and maintain strong collaboration with stakeholders.
• Support management-assigned projects and team objectives.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma holder.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in wealth management or multi-product distribution operations with a nominee structure; candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Manager or Senior Officer.
• SFC Paper 1 license is mandatory.
• Experience in multi-fund distribution operations with a nominee structure, settlement processing, cash movement, cash reconciliation and control, and AML/ATF framework knowledge.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with transfer agency systems, fund distributor operations or portfolio accounting systems is an advantage.
• Strong customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
