Manager – Executive Compensation Consulting

About the role

Mercer is looking for a Manager to join its Executive Compensation Consulting team in Hong Kong. This hybrid position requires at least three days a week in the office and offers exposure to a variety of consulting projects and client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to small to mid‑size consulting projects tailored to client needs.
• Develop client presentations, deliverables, and fine‑tune reports using Mercer’s proprietary tools.
• Gather and analyze executive pay data, rewards practices, and policies from public sources and internal databases.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative insights, including advanced Excel modeling and statistical analysis.
• Support business development through client communication, prospecting, and lead follow‑up.
• Conduct external research on industry trends, company news, and competitor landscapes.
• Coach and mentor team members, manage peer reviews, and contribute to solution brainstorming.
• Collaborate with other divisions to advise on broader HR issues.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in executive compensation, total rewards, management consulting, finance, HR, or accounting.
• Strong analytical abilities with both quantitative and qualitative focus.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
