Manager I – Leader Training & Development

About the role

The Manager I – Leader Training & Development will design, deliver and continuously improve training programmes for MCI agencies, primarily in Putonghua. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure training aligns with business goals and supports the growth of high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver IIQE preparation, onboarding and other business‑related training programmes for MCI agencies in Putonghua.
• Design and organise training curricula for MCI High‑Net‑Worth business, defining objectives, content, instructional modes and sequencing.
• Monitor training effectiveness through data analysis and Excel reporting, and refine programmes based on insights.
• Develop digital learning assets such as e‑learning modules and video content, leveraging digital tools to enhance learning outcomes.
• Host or support business and recruitment events where Putonghua communication is required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide effective Putonghua training solutions.
• Manage ad‑hoc training and business projects independently, meeting deadlines.
• Handle training administration and logistics, including room and equipment maintenance, material preparation and inventory control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in insurance, banking, finance, training, business management or consultancy.
• Good understanding of the Hong Kong and MCV insurance markets is an advantage.
• Native‑level Putonghua and strong written English.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Proven project‑management capability and ability to work under pressure.
