Manager, Legal Entity Control & Financial Reporting

About the role

Join the Hong Kong‑based Asia Finance team responsible for the financial affairs and reporting obligations of Macquarie’s Asian legal entities. You will ensure high‑quality deliverables, accurate disclosures, timely submissions and manage external audit of subsidiary accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Review and prepare full‑year accounts for regulated Asian legal entities.
• Prepare and submit regulatory returns to external regulators, maintaining the integrity of financial information.
• Identify and implement operational process enhancements and automation initiatives.
• Drive risk‑management projects, uplift controls and conduct internal assurance reviews.
• Apply finance and accounting expertise to interpret reporting rules and support a robust control framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or finance with a professional qualification (CA or CPA).
• 6‑10 years of experience in financial accounting, control, audit, legal‑entity control or regulatory reporting within a financial institution.
• High attention to detail, strong numerical and abstract reasoning, and confidence to flag potential issues.
• Effective communication with stakeholders at various seniority levels.
• Previous managerial or coaching experience and exposure to SFC regulatory reporting are advantageous.
