Manager / Senior Manager – Cyber Security (DarkLab) Consulting

About the role

PwC Hong Kong’s DarkLab practice is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to lead cyber security consulting engagements across its AI‑powered Security Operations Centre and a portfolio of advanced cyber solutions. The role will involve coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams, delivering end‑to‑end outcomes for enterprise clients in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Southeast Asia, and shaping the practice’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and own delivery of cyber security projects that span multiple DarkLab specialties, assembling the right experts and ensuring quality end‑to‑end.
• Scope, price and plan engagements across the full service portfolio, including areas outside personal expertise.
• Review deliverables for technical accuracy, act as senior escalation point for complex incidents and challenging engagements.
• Communicate pragmatic solutions to senior stakeholders through written reports and presentations to boards, audit committees and regulators.
• Maintain and elevate practice standards, mentor junior staff and contribute to business development.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading cyber security consulting engagements at manager or senior manager level.
• Strong understanding of a broad range of cyber security domains, from managed defence to threat intelligence and cloud security.
• Ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams and drive outcomes for large enterprise clients.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior business and regulatory audiences.

Required skills

• Experience with AI‑powered SOC platforms and detection engineering.
• Familiarity with watchTowr, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks, HKMA C‑RAF, iCAST and SFC regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in penetration testing, red‑team/purple‑team operations and threat intelligence.
• Proficiency in digital forensics, incident response and threat hunting.
• Understanding of cloud security, CSPM/CNAPP, container security and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Awareness of AI security, blockchain security, wallet and key management.
