Manager, Social Media and Performance Marketing

About the role

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is seeking a dynamic Manager to lead social media and performance marketing across Hong Kong, Mainland China and international markets. You will shape the district’s digital voice, drive audience engagement and support the overall branding strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies and integrated campaign plans for multiple markets.
• Manage editorial content and optimise channels including Instagram, Facebook, Xiaohongshu, WeChat and Douyin.
• Coordinate with corporate affairs, district marketing and business units to align storytelling and promotional activities.
• Establish KOL and influencer partnerships and oversee digital performance‑marketing initiatives.
• Monitor trends, analyse social media data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Perform any other duties as reasonably assigned by the Authority.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree, preferably in Marketing, Social Media, Communications or related fields.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in digital/social media marketing, with a proven track record of managing channels, influencer collaborations and multi‑stakeholder campaigns.
• Experience working with external agencies on performance‑marketing projects.
• Team‑management experience in a fast‑paced marketing environment.
• Independent, detail‑oriented, outcome‑focused with strong problem‑solving abilities.
