Market Development Management, Segment Lead Factory Sourcing

About the role

Avery Dennison is looking for a Market Development Management professional, Segment Lead Factory Sourcing, based in Hong Kong. The role owns the end-to-end process of bringing new solutions to market, from validating ROI to aligning global stakeholders, and acts as the connective tissue that turns R&D breakthroughs into commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor industry trends, competitors and global branding to identify growth areas and inform the Annual Operating Plan
• Initiate ROI analyses and long-term opportunity vetting to justify new solutions and market entries
• Manage regional scorecards covering budgets, KPIs and deployment constraints, with quarterly reporting
• Align solution-selling across retailers, brands and apparel and footwear factories, and partner with commercial leads on pipeline growth
• Develop solution plans and sales collateral for high-visibility retail and venue environments
• Own the regional training calendar and resources for commercial and factory teams
• Work with PLM and R&D to validate new technologies and feed customer feedback into product development
• Coordinate with business units on hardware/software synergy and quality standards for new installations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in retail operations, business development or product strategy
• Demonstrated experience managing global, cross-functional teams
• Experience in factory solutions and technical selling is highly preferred
• Ability to travel frequently and lead virtual or in-person marketing and sales events
