Marketing & Communication Lead - Hong Kong

About the role

Fifty-Five, part of the Brandtech Group, is looking for a Marketing & Communication Lead based in Hong Kong to grow the 55 brand in the Asia-Pacific region, supported by the global marketing team in Paris. The role covers the offices in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Singapore and Taipei and may involve broader APAC activities. It reports to the Managing Directors in APAC and the Paris marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• PR and communication: manage the digital presence on local and China-specific platforms (WeChat, LinkedIn, Weibo, Baidu, corporate website), build and run the PR action plan, write press releases and articles, coordinate translation of marketing material into Mandarin, and apply for industry awards
• Events: identify and organise industry events and webinars, coordinate speaking opportunities, and follow up leads with consulting teams
• Branding and positioning: localise marketing material such as case studies, white papers and videos, keep track of industry and competitor news, and build relationships with influencers
• Martech and growth: manage the website, use Google Analytics, and work with local teams to develop outreach campaigns and sales material

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent self-taught experience
• 6 years of experience in marketing, communication and/or branding in the digital and creative industry or start-ups
• Fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English; French is a plus
• Excellent writing and copywriting skills, analytical, detail-oriented and creative

Required skills

• Google Analytics, SEA, social advertising, community management and email software
• Photoshop, HubSpot or similar marketing automation tools, Canva and Figma (all a plus)
• Knowledge of AI/LLMs and Monday.com is a plus
