Mobile Engineer (Android/iOS) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to help build BJAK’s AI‑powered Neobank app for Android and iOS. You will join a fast‑growing fintech team that creates seamless insurance, payments and broader financial services for millions of users across Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship new mobile features for Android and/or iOS.
• Create simple, intuitive flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and other financial services.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to translate complex journeys into usable mobile experiences.
• Integrate APIs, manage loading states, error handling and production issues.
• Improve app performance, reliability, crash rates and overall user experience.
• Support rapid product launches, experiments and iterations across mobile journeys.
• Help raise the quality standards for the mobile product across the app.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional mobile development experience on Android, iOS or both.
• Strong product sense and attention to mobile UX.
• Ability to work independently with limited hand‑holding and own end‑to‑end delivery.
• Comfortable analysing APIs, analytics, crash logs and production feedback.
