OnChain Operations Analyst/Associate

About the role

Galaxy Digital is seeking a crypto‑native operations professional to manage on‑chain activities during Asia (HK) business hours. You will operate institutional‑grade custody tools, monitor positions, and help expand the firm’s on‑chain infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor on‑chain transactions (lending, borrowing, LP deployments, staking) across Solana, EVM and other layer‑1 networks using Fireblocks or comparable custody platforms.
• Serve as the primary HK‑hours operator, responding to health‑factor alerts, managing collateral and initiating position unwinds.
• Configure protocol watchlists and design custom monitors for LTV, oracle settings and yield spreads using Hypernative or similar tools.
• Conduct due‑diligence on new protocols, evaluating smart‑contract risk, governance, liquidity and incident history, and summarize findings for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the technology team on automation pipelines, webhook‑triggered execution services and new chain integrations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of on‑chain positions, protocol configurations and operational procedures.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on DeFi experience, having executed transactions across lending protocols, DEXs and other on‑chain products.
• Comfortable operating autonomously during HK business hours while coordinating with global teams in New York and London.

Required skills

• Experience with institutional custody platforms such as Fireblocks.
• Ability to query on‑chain data via RPC, blockchain explorers or data APIs.
• Familiarity with Python or similar scripting tools (preferred).
• Proficiency using LLMs (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) for scripting, data analysis and automation.
• Understanding of DeFi risk concepts including health factors, liquidation thresholds and oracle risks.
