Part-time Technical Assistant for Research Project

About the role

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Hong Kong Metropolitan University is seeking a part‑time Technical Assistant to support a research project titled “Impact Evaluation for Residential Care Home for the Elderly Renovation and Facilities Enhancement Project”. The role involves assisting the Principal Investigator with various research activities while working less than 68 hours per four‑week period.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on topics relevant to the project.
• Recruit research participants and assist with intervention delivery.
• Support data collection procedures.
• Perform quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis.
• Provide general research‑related assistance as required.

Required profile

• At least five Level 2 subjects in the HKDSE (or equivalent), including English, Chinese and Mathematics, or a recognised diploma.
• Relevant experience or training in healthcare, social services or related fields is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SPSS is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
