Practical Trainer

About the role

The Practical Trainer will lead task‑oriented and safety training programmes for aircraft maintenance personnel at HAECO Hong Kong. The role focuses on new‑joiner development, occupational safety & health training, and continuous improvement of training effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement induction and practical training programmes for mechanics and trainees.
• Mentor and coach mechanics, supporting skill development and career progression.
• Prepare and maintain training materials, standards and safety documentation.
• Promote safety awareness and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures.
• Assess trainee competency, track progress and contribute to continuous improvement of training effectiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of aircraft maintenance experience and 3 years of training experience.
• Strong safety mindset with ability to identify and report safety concerns.
• Positive attitude, effective presentation and coaching skills.
• Combined safety & health supervisor certificate (advantage).
• Proficiency with Microsoft O365 and Learning Management Systems (advantage).
