Principal Consultant / Associate Director – Financial & Corporate Communications

About the role

CDR Consultancy is seeking a senior professional to lead financial and corporate communications projects across its APAC network. The role combines strategic advisory, media relations, and investor‑relations expertise to help clients build strong brand equity and stakeholder confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client accounts and guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality results.
• Provide strategic counsel and advice to clients and internal colleagues.
• Design and execute customized PR and IR strategies that enhance brand image and equity stories.
• Develop media plans for PR and IR campaigns, including arranging interviews and managing events.
• Create corporate communications materials such as press releases and presentation decks.
• Maintain strong relationships with media outlets in Hong Kong and across APAC.
• Support business‑development pitches with research, insights, and strategic ideas.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in financial public relations, with a focus on corporate communications and investor relations.
• Proven track record serving financial institutions and multinational corporations.
• Passion for finance and excellent communication abilities.
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English, with good spoken Mandarin.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and output quality.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
