Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing & Digital Transformation

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead excellence initiatives and strategic sourcing across the Group, focusing on digital transformation, process optimisation and indirect services procurement. This senior position requires strong stakeholder management, project leadership and a data‑driven mindset to deliver cost efficiency and supplier performance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead rollout, enhancement and adoption of SAP Ariba and related procurement technologies across multiple markets.
• Partner with business users and IT teams to identify system improvements, drive user training, change management and process adoption.
• Review and optimise procurement processes to improve efficiency, compliance and user experience, supporting governance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement operations.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement for selected indirect service categories (IT, marketing, branding, corporate and professional services), including demand analysis, market assessment, RFx management, supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract execution.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify value‑creation opportunities and monitor supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and risk‑management standards.
• Support regional initiatives with frequent travel across Mainland China and overseas markets.

Required profile

• Degree holder with 8–10 years of procurement experience, covering indirect sourcing and procurement operations/process improvement.
• Proven track record in strategic procurement and category management within indirect categories.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management experience across multiple regions.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, procurement transformation and change management.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese).

Required skills

• SAP Ariba implementation, enhancement or procurement technology platforms.
• Deep understanding of Procure‑to‑Pay processes.
