Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing for MRO

About the role

As a Procurement Manager you will drive strategic sourcing for a leading global MRO provider. You will identify regional suppliers, make cost‑benefit decisions and support the company’s commitment to excellence in aviation maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate purchasing projects for contracted MRO services, including tenders and contract negotiations with third‑party suppliers.
• Analyse the MRO market, identify trends, opportunities and top suppliers.
• Support implementation of a regional material cycle and develop initiatives to ensure material availability and cost savings.
• Conduct commercial evaluations and negotiate offers to achieve optimal award decisions.
• Participate in special projects such as M&A, customer projects, IT tools and process optimisation.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Engineering or Aviation.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering or technical purchasing, preferably in aviation MRO.
• Legal work permit for Hong Kong.
• Strong business, project management, analytical and conceptual skills.
• Excellent English communication; additional Asian language skills advantageous.
• Willingness to travel extensively across APAC, Germany and the USA.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Experience with Power BI (preferred).
