Producer – Global Productions

About the role

The Producer of Global Productions will join CNN’s feature content team to create compelling stories for all of CNN’s platforms, from written digital features and short‑form social videos to full‑length TV documentaries. This role blends journalism, storytelling, and production expertise to bring global narratives to life.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and develop story treatments for digital, TV and social media platforms while upholding CNN’s editorial standards.
• Produce feature content across CNN’s portfolio of sponsored series, collaborating with other producers and specialist editors.
• Travel extensively and work with regional bureaus to capture innovative and human‑interest stories from around the world.
• Manage production logistics, schedules and tight deadlines, coordinating camera operators, editors and on‑air talent.
• Ensure compliance with Ofcom guidelines and CNN’s editorial processes throughout the production lifecycle.

Required profile

• Journalist or content creator with a passion for global storytelling and travel.
• Proven experience producing impactful stories for digital, television and social platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.
• Strong organisational skills to handle complex production schedules.
