Product Quality Engineer – Automotive Chip

About the role

We are seeking a Product Quality Engineer (PQE) with at least three years of semiconductor experience to lead failure‑analysis automation from NPI through EOL for automotive chip devices. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve customer complaints, drive root‑cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
• Analyze product specifications for compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify defects.
• Collaborate with engineering and other teams to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor, report, and trend quality performance.
• Support team members on quality standards and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage test‑tool bring‑up, maintenance, and sustainment activities.
• Share lessons learned from field issues and provide early DFMEA input to mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product quality or test engineering within the semiconductor industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, QMS tools, and analytical problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with a detail‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• C and C++ programming (Linux environment).
• Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and socket‑board test programming.
• Lab instrumentation such as CSAM, IR, Elite, and EDS.
• DFMEA methodology.
• Familiarity with CPU/SoC/Automotive standards (preferred).
