Project Manager – Rail Infrastructure

About the role

The Project Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day delivery and coordination of the PDMC commission for a large‑scale rail infrastructure programme in Hong Kong. Acting as the central hub between the PDMC team and the client, you will ensure design, systems and operational requirements are integrated within a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the daily management plan for the PDMC consultancy, aligning with project programme and governance.
• Provide leadership to discipline and package leads, ensuring coordinated execution across all workstreams.
• Coordinate activities of discipline leads, package managers and functional teams to achieve alignment across design, systems and interface workstreams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, managing information flow, decisions and deliverables.
• Oversee design management and assurance processes, including submission planning, review cycles, comment consolidation and approval workflows.
• Produce regular project reports, progress updates, risk dashboards and issue registers for client briefings.
• Identify, escalate and support resolution of major project risks such as design conflicts, programme delays and technical disputes.
• Ensure consistent governance, processes and standards across packages and disciplines.
