Project Manager – Solar Installations

About the role

Sunrya is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end solar installation projects across Hong Kong and the APAC region. This role blends on‑site leadership, supplier coordination, and client interaction to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑lifecycle solar project delivery from site visits and proposal through commissioning and operations.
• Serve as the primary contact for property managers, building owners, utility officers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate technical documentation, construction methodologies, and translate specifications into clear site instructions.
• Lead utility interconnection, statutory permitting submissions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement, negotiate pricing and lead times, and oversee logistics for all materials.
• Oversee on‑site structural, civil, and E&M construction, ensuring adherence to design drawings, codes, and safety protocols.
• Supervise system commissioning, string testing, grid synchronization, meter setup, and remote monitoring installation.

Required profile

• Generalist with the ability to learn quickly and execute with high agency and accountability.
• Background in electrical, E&M, site engineering, assistant project management, or construction.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder management and client relations.
• Willingness to work on‑site and travel for supplier and client visits.
