Quality Assurance Engineer – API & Automation Testing

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join a fast‑growing QA team. In this senior individual‑contributor position you will ensure the reliability of data‑feed services by leading comprehensive API testing and automation efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead manual and automated functional, performance, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to gather requirements and define test cases.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated E2E and API test scripts using industry‑standard tools.
• Execute automated test suites, analyse results and report defects with clear documentation.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
• Develop test strategies for API endpoints and data‑feed services.
• Continuously improve QA processes and automation frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues together with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide detailed reports on test coverage, defect trends and overall quality metrics.

Required profile

• Fluency in Cantonese.
• 3‑5+ years of software testing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent communication and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in SaaS or data‑feed products is a plus.
