Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will own the go/no‑go decisions for electronic components entering our warehouse and quality hub, drive process improvements, and act as the onsite expert for part quality, counterfeit detection, and conformity.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for go/no‑go decisions on electronic components based on incoming inspection results.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives for product‑quality processes and training.
• Maintain control of all inspection processes and provide metrics for vendor rating.
• Support customers on quality issues, prepare corrective actions and follow‑up.
• Contribute to ISO 9001:2000, ESD 20/20 and Fusion Counterfeit Avoidance Program certifications.
• Collaborate with the warehouse manager to achieve a zero‑defect inspection workflow.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronics or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic component testing, failure‑mode analysis or semiconductor distribution.
• Proven record of process improvement in a manufacturing or testing environment.
• Ability to work onsite and coordinate with quality, purchasing and commodity teams.

Required skills

• IC and chip testing expertise.
• Failure Mode Analysis and electronic component inspection.
• Use of inspection tools and equipment, including ESD compliance.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ESD certification requirements.
