Quality Manager – Hardlines (APAC)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the regional quality function for a reputable international sourcing and manufacturing organisation. The role focuses on driving quality excellence across the Asia Pacific region, standardising processes, and ensuring compliance with EU regulations and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor quality systems, programmes, KPIs and performance metrics to promote continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor and develop Quality Control teams across APAC, ensuring alignment and best‑practice sharing.
• Establish robust inspection protocols and identify opportunities to enhance quality processes and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Purchasing and Product Development during new product development, providing guidance on testing, certification and compliance.
• Monitor supplier quality performance, conduct risk assessments and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with European counterparts on evolving product regulations and ensure timely implementation.
• Lead cross‑functional quality and process‑improvement initiatives and prepare management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of management experience in manufacturing, product quality, testing, inspection or commercial laboratory environments.
• Proven track record of leading regional quality teams and driving transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience managing cross‑functional projects and stakeholder engagement across multiple markets.
