Quality Partner (Electrical)

About the role

Join a fast‑paced, dynamic team delivering safe, fit‑for‑purpose electrical products for one of the world’s largest retail groups. You will provide QA expertise for categories such as SDA, audio‑video accessories, power leads, charging cables, luminaires and batteries.

Key responsibilities

• Support electrical product categories to ensure safety, legality and quality.
• Conduct product evaluations, develop technical briefs and define testing requirements.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, influencing decisions on new product purchases.
• Perform benchmarking and market reviews to raise category quality standards.
• Verify supplier compliance with technical, ethical and Woolworths policies before supply.
• Monitor returns and complaints, drive continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Travel for factory visits when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of Electrical QA experience in an international buying office or testing lab.
• Proven track record of delivering safe, legal, high‑quality products.
• Strong communication skills in English and Putonghua.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines.
• Experience with supply‑chain processes, risk assessment and stakeholder management.
