Regional Head of Cybersecurity

About the role

Our client, a leading industrial company with presence across APAC in manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, is creating a new group‑level position: Regional Head of Cybersecurity. Reporting to the Group CTO, the role will provide technical leadership, build an incident response capability and embed a cybersecurity mindset across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT security operations and governance, including compliance, policies and workflows.
• Design and run incident response and remediation actions.
• Evaluate the latest cyber‑threat and technology landscape to introduce relevant solutions.
• Lead regular penetration testing and vulnerability‑management activities.
• Keep the management committee updated on security threats and provide recommendations.
• Assist technology teams with security reviews of new applications and systems.

Required profile

• Degree or higher in IT or a related discipline.
• Recognised security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, OSCP, CCSP).
• Minimum 12 + years of IT security experience.
• Experience with OT (Operational Technology) security is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of industry security standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, PIPL.
• Background in industrial sectors (manufacturing, logistics, supply‑chain, energy).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English.
