Regional Physical Security Operations Manager - China (HK) & NE Asia

About the role

The Regional Physical Security Operations Manager will lead security operations, risk governance, and crisis management across North‑East Asia, covering Hong Kong, Japan and Korea. Reporting to the APAC Regional Security Lead, you will ensure consistent implementation of corporate security standards and drive regional resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and govern physical security strategy for Hong Kong, Japan and Korea.
• Serve as primary escalation point for major security incidents and coordinate regional emergency response.
• Standardise security programs, policies and procedures across all sites.
• Oversee guarding vendors, security budgets, KPIs and operational performance.
• Partner with business leaders, Workplace, Legal, HR and global security teams on risk mitigation.
• Lead projects such as new office security design, event security planning and business continuity initiatives.
• Conduct regional risk assessments and provide strategic recommendations.
• Manage and develop country security personnel and vendors.
• Support crisis management structures and participate in incident command.
• Assist with workplace investigations and deputise for the APAC Regional Security Lead as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years corporate security experience, including 2 + years in a security management role.
• Proven track record managing multi‑site, multi‑country security operations.
• Experience setting up security for new offices, including risk assessments and technical controls.
• Hands‑on proficiency with physical security systems.
• Strong documentation and incident response capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
