Registered Nurse – Specialist Outpatient Clinics

About the role

The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, and manage patient‑specific care needs within the Specialist Outpatient Clinic setting, ensuring safe and patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan and manage individualized patient care in the specialist outpatient clinic.
• Support efficient clinic operations to maintain smooth, safe, and patient‑focused service delivery.
• Maintain high standards of nursing care for patients with critical or complex needs.
• Deliver holistic care while adhering to safety protocols and infection‑control guidelines.
• Ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely documentation in patient medical records.
• Supervise and guide junior nurses and healthcare assistants to uphold quality standards.
• Provide health education to patients and families to promote self‑management.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Valid Registered Nurse Practising Certificate (Part 1) issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification with bi‑annual recertification.
• ACLS certification (required for critical‑care areas).
• Demonstrated clinical competence and technical proficiency.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
