Retail Operations Assistant Manager

About the role

The Retail Operations Assistant Manager will strengthen the operational foundations of our Hong Kong and Macau boutique network, ensuring consistency, confidence and discipline across all locations. You will translate strategic direction into daily execution, supporting boutique teams to deliver a seamless CHANEL experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and communicate operational SOPs and standards aligned with global and local requirements.
• Identify process inefficiencies and support implementation of improvements across boutiques.
• Maintain operational frameworks, tools and reference materials for consistent performance.
• Partner with Boutique Operations Managers to ensure standards are understood and applied.
• Coordinate readiness activities for new initiatives, seasonal peaks and key business activations.
• Prepare and manage local delivery plans, translating requirements into clear actions and timelines.
• Escalate operational risks, non‑compliance and recurring issues with recommended next steps.
• Collaborate with the Retail Operations & Projects Manager to align standards with broader strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail operations or boutique management within a luxury environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot inefficiencies and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
