Senior Analyst – Air Freight Space Procurement (APAC)

About the role

The Senior Analyst will work closely with airline partners and internal FedEx teams to develop and implement air freight space procurement strategies, charter programs, and performance management across the APAC region. The role supports corporate air freight initiatives, expands line‑haul lanes, and drives demand‑driven capacity planning.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze air freight demand across trade lanes and define medium‑ and long‑term airline space requirements.
• Negotiate Block Space Agreements with airline partners and manage contract approvals.
• Develop pricing strategies, KPIs and performance measurement frameworks for airline partners.
• Coordinate with Operations to implement new BSA lanes and handle issue resolution and escalations.
• Manage charter requirements, short‑term space procurement and peak‑season capacity planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Quantitative Analysis or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in air freight, airline operations, space procurement or finance, preferably in freight forwarding or express logistics.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills with fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Access.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience using data analysis tools and techniques.
