Senior Associate / Manager – US Tax Consulting (Hong Kong)

About the role

Join a leading corporate tax team in Hong Kong, advising multinational clients on U.S. tax matters. You will act as a strategic consultant, helping businesses manage tax risk, optimize post‑tax profits, and navigate complex cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review U.S. federal and state corporate and partnership tax returns.
• Oversee all U.S. tax compliance matters for clients.
• Correspond with U.S. tax authorities on client issues.
• Support FATCA‑related engagements and deliver regulatory updates.
• Manage U.S. tax consulting projects from inception to delivery.
• Coach senior consultants and associates, fostering technical growth.
• Assist in delivering internal and external U.S. tax training sessions.

Required profile

• Recognized accounting or equivalent degree.
• AICPA qualification.
• 5‑8 years of experience in U.S. corporate or partnership tax (candidates with less experience may be considered for associate roles).
• Fluent written and spoken English; Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Experience with asset‑management clients is a plus.
