Senior Cargo Operations Agent (Hong Kong)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cargo Operations Agent to manage both import and export cargo activities at our Hong Kong station. The role combines operational planning, customer service, and coordination with ground handling agents and internal departments to ensure efficient cargo handling and compliance with safety and security regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support operational plans to meet cargo revenue targets.
• Liaise with local ground handling agents, head‑office cargo department, and customers to deliver high‑quality service.
• Oversee GHA routines and ensure smooth execution of import and export processes.
• Coordinate flight planning and maximize aircraft cargo space utilization.
• Handle cargo clearance, claims, discrepancies, and administrative issues.
• Disseminate cargo‑related information on customs, governmental and health regulations to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure timely notification of cargo arrival to freight forwarders and prevent cargo dwell time.

Required profile

• Relevant vocational, tertiary or trade qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cargo operations, acceptance, warehouse, ramp or related functions.
• Understanding of export and import cargo procedures and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of cargo sales is an advantage.
