Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (GCP)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves partnering with development teams to transition applications to production‑grade environments while ensuring compliance, security, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and govern enterprise‑wide GCP landing zones, covering networking, identity, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with application and development teams to productionize cloud‑native and legacy workloads.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automate deployments.
• Create and enhance CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability to ensure platform stability.
• Document runbooks, best practices, and drive continuous improvement in resilience, disaster recovery, and security.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cloud, Platform, or DevOps Engineer with hands‑on GCP expertise.
• Strong background in designing and governing cloud landing zones.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform) and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Demonstrated ability to build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Excellent problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills; Cantonese is a plus.
