Senior Consultant – FinTech T&T Central (Hong Kong)

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its T&T Central FinTech practice in Hong Kong. You will lead platform implementations across multiple banking modules, working with a global network on large‑scale transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and oversee analysis, design, solution validation and workshops to ensure comprehensive requirement coverage.
• Act as functional/stream lead for platform implementation across multiple modules.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on banking modules such as client onboarding, portfolio management, investment products and compliance.
• Support stakeholders in clarifying requirements, assessing dependencies and aligning priorities.
• Lead configuration, parameterisation, functional testing and quality‑assurance activities including SIT/UAT planning and defect triage.
• Identify risks and issues, surface them to program leadership and coordinate mitigation actions.
• Support end‑user training, cut‑over planning and post‑go‑live stabilisation.
• Collaborate with Deloitte’s global network to deliver transformational programmes for clients.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a technology or business discipline from a well‑ranked institution.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in technology and transformation at consulting firms or a leading bank.
• Proven experience delivering core banking solutions, configuring modules such as client onboarding, investment products, portfolio management, advisory tools and compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strong understanding of the core banking technology landscape and new‑age solution providers.
• Ability to build consensus, drive change in ambiguous settings and travel locally or abroad as required.
