Senior Consultant - Risk & Regulatory Compliance

About the role

Sia, a global management consulting group founded in 1999, is expanding its business after several years of growth in Asia and is looking for a Senior Consultant for its CIO Advisory workstream covering Hong Kong and APAC. The role sits in the regulatory and compliance area and involves building the office's expertise while ensuring market-leading delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in projects with leading banks and financial institutions.
• Carry out regulatory compliance reviews, internal control reviews, compliance advisory and other independent assessments in line with regulatory requirements.
• Contribute hands-on to the successful execution of client projects.
• Help grow the office through high-standard client delivery, content development and business development.
• Work with other offices and use the global network for cross-selling and knowledge sharing.
• Share consulting best practices with the team.

Required profile

• University graduate or above in accounting, business, information technology or a related discipline.
• 1 to 5 years' relevant experience in regulatory compliance, management consulting and/or audit for sizable financial institutions; candidates with less experience may be considered for a Consultant position.
• Experience in one or more of: regulatory compliance review, internal/compliance control review, independent assessment, compliance advisory, operational risk management, third-party risk management.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, interpersonal, logical and analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to get involved in all areas of a growing business.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of HKMA and/or SFC regulations.
• Good command of spoken and written English; Cantonese is a must, Mandarin fluency is an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CAMS, CISA, CISSP, CIA or similar are an advantage.
