Senior Employee Relations Specialist – APAC

About the role

As a senior member of Remote’s Lifecycle team, you will act as a critical extension of our clients’ HR functions, guiding them through complex employee exits and first‑level employee‑relations issues across the APAC region. The role blends legal compliance, high‑quality service, and continuous process improvement to support a global workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end employee off‑boarding across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring a smooth experience for both clients and employees.
• Provide trusted guidance on termination, resignation, transfer, contract, and redundancy processes while maintaining legal compliance.
• Deliver first‑level employee‑relations support, helping clients address workplace concerns and coordinating appropriate resources.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives aligned with Remote’s strategic goals and values.

Required profile

• Proven experience in employee relations and off‑boarding within a global or multi‑jurisdictional environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering high‑quality outcomes.
• Strong understanding of legal compliance requirements in key APAC jurisdictions.
• Excellent customer‑service mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
