About the role
The Senior Legal Counsel – Technology will support the Asia‑Pacific business leaders of a global technology MNC, providing legal advice on transactions, marketing, sales and commercial contracts. The role sits on the APAC leadership team and reports directly to the General Counsel.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex technology transactions and ensure legal support throughout deal lifecycles.
- Provide day‑to‑day commercial and corporate advice to sales, marketing and product teams across the region.
- Assist product groups in developing new technology products, services and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑regional stakeholders, including teams in the UK and US, to navigate cultural and regulatory differences.
Required profile
- 10‑14 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate and commercial law.
- Background that combines law‑firm experience with in‑house roles at stable technology companies.
- Proven experience in technology‑focused deals and transactions.
- Ability to work effectively with sales, marketing and product teams across Asia and internationally.
