Senior Loss Prevention Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for safeguarding the property, its guests, and employees by overseeing security operations, conducting inspections, and responding to emergencies. This role combines proactive loss‑prevention measures with hands‑on incident management in a hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms and monitor access to restricted zones.
• Conduct emergency response drills, daily safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key‑control audits.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured areas.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Prepare detailed incident reports while maintaining confidentiality.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and enforce alcoholic beverage control laws.
• Support management in training, coaching, and motivating security staff.
• Maintain professional appearance, adhere to company policies, and protect company assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in loss prevention, security or safety supervision, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Strong ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, accurate decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, run and lift objects up to 50 lb (assistance for heavier items).
