Senior Manager, Agency Training and Development

About the role

Manulife is looking for a Senior Manager, Agency Training and Development to deliver quality training aligned with its need-based selling concepts for new agents. The role takes ownership of training programs, monitors their effectiveness and addresses the specific needs of the agency force. The working arrangement is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality training to the developed training programs, aligned with need-based selling concepts in new agent training
• Take ownership of training programs and ensure the quality of training delivery
• Monitor the effectiveness of the programs
• Identify and assess the training needs of the agency force
• Develop programs that address specific business needs
• Promote communication channels with managers and collect feedback on training programs
• Lead projects when required and collaborate across departments

Required profile

• University graduate with training and insurance professional qualifications
• Professional qualification in financial planning preferred
• Track record of developing and executing successful training programs
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Analytical, innovative and customer-focused, independent and self-driven
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua is an advantage
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Manager position
