Senior Receptionist – Trio (Happy Valley Clubhouse)

About the role

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a professional Senior Receptionist to manage the front‑of‑house experience at the Trio venue in the Happy Valley Clubhouse. You will be the first point of contact for members and their guests, ensuring smooth reservations, table allocation, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, handle reservations and confirm daily bookings for the restaurant and hydroponic farm tour.
• Allocate tables using the Table Management System, respecting member preferences and floor‑plan efficiency.
• Assist dining‑room staff, maintain cleanliness of the reception area, and oversee menu presentation and printing.
• Welcome members and guests, escort them to their tables, and introduce them to servers.
• Address special needs such as child services, disability accommodations, and food allergies.
• Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction, resolve complaints, and promote unique products.
• Support the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager with member records in the Table Management System and MBCUS.
• Maintain high grooming standards and foster teamwork among dining‑room personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant front‑of‑house or reception experience.
• Strong interpersonal and people‑skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, member‑focused environment.
• High grooming standards and a friendly, amiable attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Table Management System.
• Experience using MBCUS for member record management.
