Senior Sales Associate, Sales Coordination

About the role

Global Payments is looking for a Senior Sales Associate, Sales Coordination to join its Hong Kong Merchant Sales Team. Acting as a key link between Sales Managers, merchants and internal teams, you will help create a seamless merchant experience from onboarding through ongoing account support, improving sales efficiency and enabling teams to exceed client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver seamless merchant onboarding and account support so new and existing merchants can access payment solutions within agreed service levels.
• Strengthen merchant satisfaction and loyalty by acting as a trusted secondary contact, coordinating timely solutions and keeping a professional service standard.
• Track and monitor merchant requests accurately so they are completed within established timelines.
• Produce accurate reports and customised insights that give Sales Managers and key merchants better performance visibility.
• Support priority accounts and contribute to initiatives that improve the overall client experience.

Required profile

• At least three years of experience in sales coordination, sales support, customer service or a similar client-facing role.
• Sound understanding of the merchant onboarding process and account lifecycle.
• Strong customer service, communication and relationship-management skills, with proven collaboration with merchants and internal teams.
• Positive, self-motivated and detail-oriented, able to manage several priorities and keep quality under pressure.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Bonus: experience in merchant acquiring, card payments, banking or financial services, Putonghua, and a long-term interest in sales, merchant services or payment solutions.
