Senior Tax & Business Advisory Consultant – Hong Kong

About the role

Deloitte Private Tax Advisory supports private companies, owners and high‑net‑worth individuals with comprehensive tax and business strategies. The Senior Consultant will lead tax planning, compliance, wealth and succession projects, and contribute to service innovation for our private‑client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify sustainable planning opportunities, analyse market trends and client pain points to mitigate risk and meet statutory deadlines.
• Apply technical tax knowledge throughout the project lifecycle, including client advisory and deliverable preparation.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients to uncover tax and succession issues and propose tailored solutions.
• Research and interpret current and pending tax legislation across jurisdictions, leveraging Deloitte’s global network.
• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring timely execution, quality outcomes and stakeholder alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in tax, accounting, finance, law or related fields.
• Professional accounting qualification or legal qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of tax experience in a CPA firm, tax authority or large corporation.
• Strong technical expertise serving privately‑owned enterprises and deep understanding of tax policies and regulations.
• Excellent analytical ability, commitment to high‑quality client service and strong consultation and communication skills.
