Site Manager – HV/MV Substation Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Site Engineering professional to lead the delivery of high‑voltage (HV) and medium‑voltage (MV) substation projects. The role supports the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing construction activities while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across sites in Hong Kong and Macau.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, risk mitigation and execution of HV/MV substation projects.
• Coordinate civil, electrical and E&M interfaces during site execution.
• Supervise day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring work quality, safety and compliance with local regulations and company HSE standards.
• Provide regular progress, quality and safety updates to the Project Manager.
• Review construction drawings, specifications and method statements, offering technical guidance on‑site.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of power system equipment and components.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Required profile

• High Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid safety‑training certification.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, site coordination and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Self‑motivated, independent and able to work under pressure.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).

Required skills

• Geographic Information System (GIS) knowledge.
• Experience with power transformers.
• Understanding of protection and control systems.
• Familiarity with power distribution networks.
