Steward Attendant

About the role

The Steward Attendant is responsible for cleaning equipment in food & beverage outlets and the team members’ canteen kitchen, ensuring a sanitary and tidy environment in line with the Restaurant & Bar Manager’s instructions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the kitchen and surrounding areas in a clean, sanitary and tidy manner according to cleaning schedules.
• Supply all F&B outlets with sufficient operating equipment.
• Wash cooking utensils (pots, pans, trays) by hand using cleaning detergents.
• Operate dishwashers and glass washers to clean dishware, glasses, cutlery, melamine wares and dining equipment.
• Clean kitchen cooking equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, refrigerators and ice‑making machines.
• Polish silverware and goldware to keep them shining.
• Apply basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals safely.
• Dispose of rubbish and food waste to the garbage room and assist with stock‑take as requested.

Required profile

• Primary education or vocational training, preferably.
• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of handling cleaning equipment and machines.
• Ability to understand simple English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
• Physically fit, neat, tidy and service‑oriented.
• Good attitude, able to work under pressure and align with the group’s core values.
